Make sure your iTunes Account has full Administration rights.

Through Terminal.app, type:

sudo rm-rf / Data / Doc / Control / AppleMobileItem.kext
This step is not important if you are using Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6)
sudo rm-rf / Data / Doc / Process / AppleMobileItemSupport.pkg

Now reinstall iTunes. The issue should be solved? the issue should be resolved re-installation of iTunes, if the issue reappears after you restart then proceed to our next steps.

After restarting iTunes open the Terminal.app again and type the following:

sudo rm-rf / System / Library / LaunchDaemons / com.apple.usbmuxd.plist ~ orig
Now restart. Try and remove cable and check again?

If the problem still not resolved, continue to the next step.

Close down iTunes, unplug your Apple Device. Open the Terminal.app, type:
sudo rm-rf / Processing / Doc / ReleaseDaemons / device.apple.usbmuxd.plism ~ orig
sudo rm-rf / Processing / Doc / Files / AppleMobileItem.kext
sudo rm-rf/ Processing/ Doc/ PrivateFiles/ MobileItem.framework

Restart MAC: do not connect your AppleiDevice yet.

Now start up iTunes.

After that iTunes and your Apple Device should be reorganised.

iTunes Help / How to Make iTunes Sync with WiFi and IOS 5

Users of IOS5 have been expecting Apple to allow Wi-Fi. Gone will be the days of dependending on your USB cable that can result in issues. iTunes Help have laid out the instructions to turn on the Wi-Fi Sync through iTunes with your Apple Device that has IOS5 installed.

Make sure you have iTunes 10.5 installed and your Apple Device has been upgraded to IOS5. Run iTunes and plug your device in, these steps only need to be completed once.

Select the Apple device and in the Summary section, scroll down.

Turn on “Sync with this iPad / iPhone upon Wi-Fi”.

Cause: Apple doesn’t provide a cause for this issue, but it appears to have something to do with QuickTime Player’s audio preferences.

Solution: Reinstall QuickTime
Go to your Control Panel (on PC) from the Start Menu then select Add or Remove Programs.
Select QuickTime from the list then click the Remove button to start the uninstall process.
